| Stars Topple Sailors with Late Rally | Los Angeles Stars starter Harry Stout pitched well against the San Francisco Sailors at Bigsby Stadium, leading his team to a win, 4-3. The victory makes Los Angeles 14-10.
Los Angeles got a knockout punch from Ed Moore. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We were the better team," crowed Moore.
