| Gothams Earn 7-4 Home Win | Isaiah Redbird left his imprint on the 7-4 New York win against the Boston Minutemen. Redbird, who is tied for 7th in the FA in extra base hits with 20, was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Red Blanchard, who is tied for 2nd in the FA in wins with 7, was the winner. He's now 7-1. The loser was George Kollock. Getting the save was Bill Howard, his 9th.
New York took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Redbird hit a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season made the score 6-4, New York.
New York manager Bert Carlton was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
The triumph puts New York at 23-23 for the season.
