Saints Beaten, 7-4, by Kansas City | Charlie Rogers knocked in 3 runs to help Kansas City beat Montreal, 7-4. The Zion, Illinois native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Picking up his 4th save was 32-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Thorpe. With the win over Montreal, the Kings improved to 71-52.
With Kansas City leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Rogers hit a circle change from Skinny Green for a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Kings ahead, 5-2.
