| Johnston Clouts 2 Homers in 10-7 Los Angeles Win | The Los Angeles Stars defeated the Dallas Wranglers, 10-7, at Bigsby Stadium. Leading the charge for Los Angeles was catcher Ron Johnston. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. The Wranglers, at 21-24, have lost 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the eighth, Johnston put his team in front with his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Hank Berkowitz, made it 10-7, Los Angeles.
