The Montreal Saints got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-1 win over the Chicago Cougars. Doing his part was second baseman John Fast. Fast, who is a two-time All-Star, went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The 7th-place Saints now sit at 57-67.
