Foresters Deal Cannons 4-1 Defeat | Though the conditions were not ideal, the Cleveland Foresters and Cincinnati Cannons came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Cleveland Foresters starter Adrian Czerwinski turned in an exceptional performance against the Cincinnati Cannons at Tice Memorial Stadium II, resulting in a Cleveland win, 4-1. The save went to Johnny Ogden, his 10th this season.
The Foresters got a gift in the top of the fifth inning, when they were leading 2-1. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, John Low reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Cleveland.
Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead called it "a good, solid win."
