| Wranglers Jolt Imperials, 6-4, with Late Rally | Getting a good performance from left fielder Chuck Armstrong, the Dallas Wranglers defeated the New York Imperials, 6-4. Armstrong went 2-5 with a triple, while adding 5 RBI for the Wranglers. The Wranglers now have a record of 30-65.
New Haven, Connecticut native Chuck Armstrong had a clutch at-bat in the top of the ninth for the Wranglers. With Dallas trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Armstrong told the Dallas Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
