Cleveland Foresters pitcher Marty Czyzewski was in top form, leading his team past the Montreal Saints, 3-0. The winning pitcher was Czyzewski, now 2-2. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 2.
Tom Carr hit a run-scoring triple off Juan Quintana in the top of the fourth, which put the Foresters in front, 1-0. Carr had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
