The New York Gothams picked up a win at Gotham Stadium, knocking off the Philadelphia Keystones, 10-3. Starting pitcher Ed Bowman played a key role in the triumph. The third-place Gothams now have a win-loss record of 63-54.

Red Johnson, the New York first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 4-0, Gothams. For the game, Johnson went 1-3. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Johnson told the New York Times.
