| Down to Defeat Goes Dallas, 3-1 | In a tight tilt between the Montreal Saints and the Dallas Wranglers, Duke Edin was the deciding factor. The Montreal right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Hank Myer, credited with the save, is now 9 for 14 in save opportunities. The Saints go to 38-56 with the win.
The Saints had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Montreal, with two out. Dallas, with runners on 1st and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Carl Matthews dug in at the plate, but on a 0-1 splitter, he flied out.
