Wolves Sunk by Cannons
Cincinnati Cannons starter Charlie Warren was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Toronto Wolves, 3-2. Paul Williams nailed down his 4th save. Cincinnati goes to 11-6 with the win.

Had Babe Booth not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Booth hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Cannons.

After the game, Cincinnati manager Buddy Baumgart applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
