| Rusconi Leads Wolves to 7-3 Win Over Imperials | The Toronto Wolves cut down the New York Imperials by the score of 7-3, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Ty Rusconi. Rusconi went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Wolves. Toronto pitcher Mike Emerson got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Hank Short got the loss. New York, now 2-14, continues its tough start.
Toronto took a 5-0 lead on Rusconi's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Hank Short in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Toronto to the win.
"It feels good to get this one," Rusconi told the Toronto Daily.
