Hasson Shuts Down Millers, 5-0 | Billy Hasson had an impressive outing at Pioneer Field III, hurling the St. Louis Pioneers to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Minneapolis Millers.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Minneapolis skipper Frank Vance said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Hasson yielded 3 hits and tallied 10 strikeouts with 2 walks.
