The Philadelphia Keystones picked up a win at Minuteman Stadium, taking down the Boston Minutemen, 8-4. Starting pitcher Ted Beaven was a big reason why. Philadelphia is in last place in the Federal Association with a record of 40-58.

Al Coulter, the Philadelphia second baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to make the score 4-0, Keystones. For the game, Coulter went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Beaven said.
