Saints Take Tight Tangle
Thanks in large part to left fielder Jim Johnston, the Montreal Saints beat the Chicago Cougars, 4-3. Johnston slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The loss makes Chicago 9-9.

Johnston had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 3-1 knuckle curve from Roy Ellis, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Saints a 4-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Johnston.

Johnston called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
