Saints Lose to Kings in Walk-Off | Behind an impressive start by Johnnie Higgins, Kansas City beat Montreal, 3-2. Kansas City goes to 41-22. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.
Bob Burge was the walk-off hero for Kansas City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
