The Chicago Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Keystones, 7-2, in Federal Association action at Whitney Park. Chicago pitcher Vern Osborne had a standout performance. Dutch Lane nailed down his 20th save. Philadelphia's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

The Chiefs got a big at-bat from center fielder Joe Siniscalchi. For the game, Siniscalchi was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
