| Cannons Use Late Rally to Win | The Cincinnati Cannons faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Tom Fisher, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Parc Cartier II by a final score of 5-4. Fisher went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Cincinnati is 7th in the Continental Association with a record of 30-39.
The Cannons beat the Saints with some clutch hitting. The single by Don Bitters in the top of the eighth is a good example. With two down, Bitters gave his team the lead, 5-4, when he came through with the big hit.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Bitters.
