Johnston Leads Saints to 15-4 Win Over Wolves
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

Jim Johnston was a vital contributor to the 15-4 Montreal victory over Toronto. The Saints left fielder went 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Montreal pitcher Gene Faulkenberry earned the win, hiking his record to 6-2. Charlie Davidson suffered the loss.

Gene Faulkenberry had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Montreal. With the bases loaded and the Saints leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Faulkenberry said.

So far in 1963, Montreal is 25-29.
