The Philadelphia Keystones powered past the Boston Minutemen, 9-3, at Minuteman Stadium. Buddy Miller provided some of the pop. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jack Kessler, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities. Philadelphia is now 29-37.

Philadelphia third baseman Lloyd Coulter contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 74th hit of the season and put the Keystones ahead, 2-0.

Coulter told a Philadelphia Observer reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
