| Imperials Flatten Saints, 9-3 | Due in large part to left fielder Turk Ramsey, the New York Imperials sunk the Montreal Saints, 9-3. Ramsey was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The Imperials sport a record of 18-29.
With New York leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Ramsey hit a circle change from Bob Nelson for a solo home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Imperials ahead, 3-1.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said New York manager Bud Jameson.
