Kansas City turned a good effort from starter Mike Thorpe into a win over the Los Angeles Stars at Prairie Park. The Kings won the game, 4-2. Thorpe picked up the win for Kansas City, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1.
